Installation, setup, pricing rules and seasonal booking workflow for DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing.

DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing extends DevAgent WBR with seasonal pricing rules, annual licensing, active-license updates and support for rental businesses using WooCommerce.
Install
Upload the ZIP, activate WooCommerce and install Devagent WBR Pricing.
Configure
Create high, mid and low seasons with date ranges.
Set pricing rules
Assign a daily price to each season.
Show seasonal prices
Display the correct booking price on the frontend.

1. Requirements
Before installing DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing, make sure your site meets the following requirements:
– WordPress 6.8 or higher
– PHP 8.1 or higher
– WooCommerce 8.5 or higher
– DevAgent WBR installed and active
– An annual license for WBR Dynamic Pricing
DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing works as an add-on on top of the DevAgent WBR booking system. It does not replace WooCommerce; WooCommerce remains the core eCommerce plugin.
2. Installation
Follow the steps below to install DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing:
1. Download the ZIP file from your DevAgent account.
2. Log in to WordPress as an administrator.
3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
4. Upload the DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing ZIP file.
5. Click Install Now.
6. Activate the plugin.
7. Make sure DevAgent WBR is already active.
8. Go to DevAgent WBR > Pricing to review seasonal pricing settings.
Note: DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing requires DevAgent WBR (the base plugin) to be installed and active.
3. License activation
After installation, go to DevAgent WBR > Settings > Licenses and paste your license key.
Click Activate License to connect your site and validate the key.
While your annual license is active, you will receive plugin updates and priority support.
The license is valid for one website.
4. Global settings
Season labels
Name your seasons to match your business (for example: High season, Mid season, Low season) or create custom period names.
Pricing display
Choose how prices are shown on the frontend, including daily price, seasonal labels and estimated totals.
Renewal
Your license renews annually. After renewal, you keep access to updates and support for another year.
5. Creating seasonal periods
Define date ranges for each season. Add a start and end date for High, Mid and Low seasons (or your custom periods). Make sure the periods do not overlap to avoid conflicts. The calendar should cover your intended rental year, for example 12 or 18 months ahead.
Recommended workflow:
– Start with the busiest season first.
– Add mid season or shoulder periods next.
– Finish with low season or off-season pricing.
– Review the calendar to confirm there are no gaps or overlaps.
6. Pricing rules
Assign a daily price to each season. Set the amount that should be charged per day when a booking falls within that season. The booking form will automatically calculate the correct daily rate based on the selected dates and any seasonal rules you define.
Examples:
– High season: €120 / day
– Mid season: €90 / day
– Low season: €60 / day
7. Frontend pricing display
When enabled, customers will see seasonal context, the daily price for their selected dates and the estimated booking total. Seasonal labels (for example, High season) help customers understand why the price changes across the calendar.
Customers can typically see:
– The selected date range
– The season applied to those dates
– The daily price used for the calculation
– The estimated booking total
8. Compatibility
DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing is compatible with WooCommerce simple and variable booking products supported by DevAgent WBR.
It is designed to extend DevAgent WBR without replacing your existing booking workflow.
9. Troubleshooting
If pricing does not appear as expected, try the following:
– Verify that DevAgent WBR and DevAgent WBR – Dynamic Pricing are both active.
– Check that your license is active under Devagent WBR > Settings > Licenses.
– Clear all caches (browser, server and any caching plugins).
– Review your seasonal periods for overlapping or missing date ranges.
– Confirm that your WooCommerce booking product is configured correctly.
If you still need help:
– Re-save your seasonal rules.
– Test with a fresh booking date range.
– Temporarily disable aggressive caching.
– Contact DevAgent support from your account area.
